Ushering
e

Elders Mr and Mrs Ngulube

Department leaders.

# The Lord, Jesus Christ displayed a great servant hood spirit and humility when He washed His Disciple’s feet and urged them to serve each other (John 13v 5,14,15) the ushers’ hearts are totally focused on pleasing God and not people and they are driven by the servant’s heart which was also in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Motto :
"Tasks are our delight, and people our business"

Focus : lightening the burden of the church leadership as much as possible by physically assisting anywhere and in anyway possible especially on Sunday services, Tuesday evening prayers and during conferences.

Ushers meet an hour before each service commences to tidy up the auditoriums; arranging chairs, cleaning toilets, tidy up all facilities on the church premises and make the place presentable for and ready for services. In addition, the ushers get some time (30 mins) to pray and commit themselves to God before their respective service begins.

Usher Creed

"An usher must practise love, be hospitable, social class/race/clour/gender blind"

Ushering comprises of 150 dedicated members both men and women whose hearts are eager to serve God in His house. This group perceive themselves as servants in the House and see Christ as their role model.

f

The ushering ministry accurately puts into practice the scripture in Hebrews 13v1-2. This is clearly witnessed during services as they welcome people at the entrance, catch people falling under the anointing of the Holy Ghost and serve as personal assistants to the pastors convening the services. This crew is very alert and ever ready for service of every kind.
