  Disciple : : Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

  Jesus : :(called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them) Verily I say unto you,

Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

There are approximately 190 children in Children's Church Ministry from all services.

We have four classes in our school which are:

*  Sparklets for ages 2-5 years

* Sparks for grades 1-3

* Flames for grades 4-5

* Torches for grades 6-7

Curriculum

Teaching and learning activities planned, provided and done in class include:
# Lessons and game time on Sunday, Funday, Retreats, Outreaches to orphanages and primary schools, Concerts, Puppet shows, Games day, Mamp Meeting (end of year).

This is where my heart lies and the ministry I am proudly a part of. The Children's Church has a budding music team called the ‘Eagle Soars'. This team is from ages 5-13 years. It has a total of 30 members and incorporates all singing parts except, of course for bass. We meet every Saturday from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Teaching in Sunday School:

The teaching team for Children's Church Ministry is made up of mostly young men and women, to join you need the following qualifications:
# Jesus Christ must be your confessed Lord and saviour,
# Water baptism,
# Holy Spirit filled,
# Have a healthy personal bible study,
# Have a healthy prayer life,
# Gone through the training sessions,
# Have been in church for more than 6 months

Teaching material
# Modules are provided
# Stationery and all other materials need for a lesson are provided to every teacher, only they need to pray, plan ahead and prepare before delivering a lesson.

  Parents have been our pillar of strength and they support us during our functions. Some of those being concerts and conferences held annually, camps and music practices.
