Isaiah 61:1-3....The
Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and
qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the
poor, and the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the
broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual]
captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those
who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the
year of His favour] and the day of the vengeance of our God, to
comfort all who mourn, to grant [consolation and joy] to those who
mourn in Zion and to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem)
of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning,
the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened
and failing spiritthat they may be called oaks of righteousness
[lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness,
justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord,
that He may be glorified. |
Apostle Colin Nyathi was raised in a family of nine and was born again in the month of August 1977 during one of the revivals in the then Rhodesia just prior to independence, which saw the Holy Spirit moving on his heart and he found himself weeping all night and that resulted in his dramatic conversion. As a result, during the following days and months, he devoured the Word of God daily and prayed continually. He could read chunks of the Bible in one sitting and memorize verses with ease. It was then that he understood that God had called him and set him apart for a special ministry, something which was reiterated and confirmed by various people speaking prophetically in different stages of his life..................God Bless you! |
In 1977 he left for United Kingdom London where he did his 'A' Levels and later a B.A. Honours degree in Economics at the City of London College. He later obtained his Masters Degree in Accounting. He worked in various companies in different capacities, namely as a Business Consultant, Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Executive and Financial Director before he went into full time ministry. During a conference meeting in New Zealand in 1997, through the Ministry of John Arnot, he was impacted mightily by the Holy Spirit, an encounter which was to change and shape the direction of his ministry thereafter. For five days and five nights he could not sleep for the account of the presence of God. This created in him a great hunger for the Holy Spirit and wherever he goes he releases the same Revival Fires, and he has been used by God to ignite revivals in different churches in different parts of the world. He hosts a weekly television programme on Ezekiel TV called Open Heavens. He has ministered all over Zimbabawe, in Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and the USA. |
: He operates in an apostolic and prophetic capacity and has raised many sons in the ministry in and outside Zimbabwe.
