Building God A House

Pledge Form >... please fill in a pledge
form to be part of this vision.

Some years ago, God deposited a word into apostle Colin Nyathi's heart about building God a house and dedicating it to God ( 2 Samuel 7 vs. 13-16) and it is from that word that Harvest House International Church was conceived. There is a clear principle that we find in the word of God (Psalms 18 vs. 26) “With the pure heart you show Yourself pure, and with the perverse You show Yourself contrary.”

The way we respond to God is the way God responds to us. David had a strong desire to build God a house (2nd Sam 17 vs.13-16) and God's response in verses 10 to 15 is “I will build you a house David and my mercy and loving kindness shall not depart from your children”.

The house God built for David was favour with him, his children and their children's children. The following scriptures confirm that 1 Kings 11v 9-13, 1 King 15 vs. 1-4,

2 Kings 8 vs16-19, 2 Kings 19 vs. 34-35, and Acts 15 vs. 15-16.

May therefore God reveal to you what part you are to play in this wonderful vision and may the spirit of Partnership enable us to move forward together in the purposes of God.

The growth of the church has led to a need for a large auditorium which will be able to accommodate the ever increasing harvest that the Lord is bringing to us. The congregation has grown and continues to grow and thus we are now having seven services on Sundays, in order to accommodate every one. The benefits of a bigger Auditorium include among many, less strain on all our resources e.g. Sound equipment and human resources. Everyone can be accommodated in the same building, even during conferences.

The building currently owned by HHI Bulawayo, whilst initially found adequate for our needs, has proven to be too small due to the rapid growth of the congregation. The congregation continues to grow and needs a bigger building to accommodate the large numbers and the numerous activities that take place on a weekly basis.

HHI has purchased 10 acres of land for building and constrution commenced in July 2007. An aggressive fundraising campaign is underway to ensure completion of the project.

This mega structure will house the Administration block, Bible school facilities, Children's ministry, Compassionate ministry, Conference facilities among other things.

Should you feel moved to contribute financially or otherwise towards this great house of God please fill in the pledge form which will be sent to us or contact the church offices.
